Hearing Aid Dispensing and Fitting

After the hearing evaluation is complete, and if the results indicate a hearing loss is present and your ears could use a boost, our hearing care expert will program a set of devices for you based on your personal prescription. Our hearing care experts will demonstrate how to use the devices and provide you with an in-office listening experience so that you can determine how they will benefit your hearing and communication needs.

We have found that there are typically a variety of responses, and emotions, with the in-office listening experiences. This is normal and to be expected. Using hearing aids will make everyday sounds audible and comfortable, with the sounds and speech that you hear clear and pleasant. Adjustments can be made to the hearing aids easily to make sure the hearing aids are giving you enough sound where you need it and not too much where you don’t need it.

Our hearing care experts are committed to creating the best listening experience for you with your new hearing aids. The initial in-office listening experience and fitting are the starting points. Any adjustments to customize the hearing aids to your desired settings will take place over a few appointments and as you wear the hearing aids in more situations and adapt to all the new sounds you are hearing again.

Keep in mind that it will take some time to get used to the sounds you were missing and are now hearing again. We will work closely with you and we will be here for you every step of the way on your better hearing journey.
